A cofferdam for a shallow tunnel is only as good as the steel that holds its walls apart. In March 2019 we drew the waler and strut frames for a cofferdam between To Kwa Wan and Kai Tak: continuous walers along each sheet-pile wall, cross struts between them, and the details where they meet existing pipe piles and block walls. The 3D drawings let the fabricator see every connection before cutting steel.
