Ninepin Group: lifting a fishing-vessel wreck from −31 m
Divers rigged slings around a sunken fishing vessel at −31 m so a derrick barge could right it and lift it.

A fishing vessel sank off the Ninepin Group and lay on its side at about −31 m. At that depth every dive is short, so the rigging was planned in detail beforehand.
Divers passed slings under the hull at set points fore and aft, avoiding the damaged section. A derrick barge then took the load in stages: first rolling the hull upright by about 20°, then lifting it clear of the seabed. The drawings show the sling positions, the lift sequence and the 67.5-tonne crane load.
