A split-hopper barge sank at Tseung Kwan O. We measured the wreck and drew a salvage sequence in five steps: positioning and anchoring the derrick barge, rigging the wreck, lifting it clear of the seabed, moving it into shallower water about 60 m away, and bringing it to the surface alongside the work barge. Each step is drawn to scale against the seabed so the crane reach, rigging and water depth could be checked before anyone went in the water.
